8/0 Uni-Thread  Rust

Tail:

Light Dun hackle fibers – slightly longer than hook shank length

Body:

Rusty Superfine dry fly dubbing

Wing Pad:

Light Grey closed cell foam strip

Hackle:

Light Dun dry fly hackle – clipped flush on bottom   

Another great Spinner pattern.  The small foam Wing Pad will help float this guy low and the clipped dry fly hackle present a sparse profile from a trout’s point of view.  Another fly to try in Olive and Mahogany to cover a broad range of mayflies.
