Another historic Michigan pattern, originated by Earl Madsen - AuSable River guide in the 1930's. The original was tied with calf tail, black chenille body and white rubber legs. The closed cell foam floats much better and the centipede legs are just too buggy to resist. Mix and match colors - Yellows and Greens work nice when the hoppers are out. Don't be afraid to pop and gurgle this guy in the brush or over the black holes. |
