 The Old Boss

All good things must come to a an end.  Sad to say, but Molly has left us with many fond memories of chasing birds in Grayling and ruling the roost down home.
   

 The New Boss

This fine young lady is called Maggie (Dotty's Black Magnum).  She is a compact English Setter and has happily assumed the duty of chief Grouse pointer.  By the way, if you see any porcupines in Northern Michigan, do me a favor and chase them out of Crawford County.
   
The Bookeeper

This is the oldest son, Bryan.  While he can't quite handle a fly rod, he enjoys floating down the AuSable, touring the country with Mom and Dad and generally causing as much trouble as possible.  He is doing fine and has recently started his own Micro Business.  You can learn more and catch him on his website . . .

The Youngsters

I finally got around to the big update.  Still nothing but trouble,  Son #2 and his new bride (Adam and Stacy on their better days) enjoying a another moment in the Sunshine. Here they are taking a minute to relax in front of another famous name plate.  In their spare time, Adam keeps things under control at KC Transportation and Stacy talks to the animals at the Toledo Zoo.  The rumor was true - there is a diamond on her finger and Brack Hill Tackle has not lost a son - just gained another full time daughter.  And now a new grandson!

 

 
 

If you are wondering about the lack of new fishing, rods and Trout Food updates, you can partially blame this guy.  Grady James joined the family on May 20, 2011 and has been the center of attention for most of this summer.  He's still a little small for a fly rod, but I'm looking forward to next summer on the AuSable.  Say "Howdy" to the first of the 5th generation of Burhart!

 
   

The Postergirl

The photo that will live in infamy.  The wife is in the background - you can barely make out the BHT logo shirt-  enjoying another moment in the sun floating down the Madison River.  This was one of her first Montana Rainbows (many years ago) and this photo has graced the pages of the Blue Ribbon Flies catalog as well as traveling around the country at Fly Shows under the title "Fish With the Best"
