Let's Visit the Dark Side

And all this time you thought your humble rodmaker was a kind, sensitive and gentle soul, quietly scraping bamboo in the shop and occasionally slipping into the North Woods or into the mountains of Montana to pursue the wily trout.  Well guess again! Truth be known, in spite of my outward appearance (slightly past middle age, slightly past slim and slightly receding hairline) the need for speed and the feel of the wind in my face compels me to occasionally visit the Dark Side.  What you see below is the latest look at my Harley Dyna Low-Rider now sporting a fresh new paint job courtesy of Eby Customs right here in Michigan. All put back together and out for maybe one last ride this past Monday, October 30.  The Burhart curse of warm sunny days paid one more visit and helped me enjoy a two hour cruise.  Who cares if the beatis were coming off or not - we'll get after them another time . . .

Almost as good as hanging on to a 20" Madison River Brown - if you look close you can still see the fish slime on that fishing cap.

Even Bryan (the Bookeeper) gets into the act.  You can learn more about his story at his personal web site - Bryan's Page.

The only thing missing is "Made in USA"
